NAPLES, FL - Here, as I sit listening to the proverbial April showers blessedly rinsing down at least a few coats of the pollen from the already blooming May flowers, I can also hear the distant rumblings that might - just might - portend a new funding model for theatre. Just four days ago, scrappy Ghostbird Theatre Company, a freshman group founded by Florida Gulf Coast University graduate Brittney Brady, launched a Kickstarter campaign to fund their first production of the upcoming 2013-14 season. (Read More)
